How to get to the Miami Intercontinental from
MIA, Amtrak, Brightline, and Tri-Rail

From MIA

• Upon arrival into Miami International Airport look for signs in the Main Terminal for the people mover. This automated system will take you to the Miami Intermodal Center (MIA Station).
• Once at the MIA Station take the Metrorail Orange Line to Government Center in Downtown Miami.
• Proceed to the Mezzanine Level to take the Metromover’s Inner Loop to the Bayfront Park Station.
• The Intercontinental Miami is located one block east, across Biscayne Boulevard, at 100 Chopin Plaza.

Note when leaving the Conference:

• On weekdays, board an Orange Line train if you are traveling northbound to the Miami International Airport (MIA) Station.
• On weekends, Orange Line trains provide only Airport Shuttle train service between Earlington Heights and Miami International Airport (MIA) stations with a 15-minute frequency. All passengers heading to the airport must transfer to the Airport Shuttle train at Earlington Heights.

Brightline

• Upon arrival at the Miami Central Brightline Station head to the Ground Floor and exit to the south at NW 6^th Street and NW 1^st Avenue.
• Walk one block south along NW 1^st Avenue to the Wilke D. Ferguson Metromover Station at NW 5^th Street and NW 1^st Avenue.
• Take the Metromover’s Inner Loop to the Bayfront Park Station (either direction is fine).
• The Intercontinental Miami is located one block east, across Biscayne Boulevard, at 100 Chopin Plaza.

Tri-Rail

Tri-Rail offers two options:

• Depending on the train, there is a one seat ride option and a transfer option. Please check the Tri-Rail schedule.
• The one seat ride option arrives at the Miami Central Brightline Station.
• Head to the Ground Floor and exit to the south at NW 6^th Street and NW 1^st Avenue.
• Walk one block south along NW 1^st Avenue to the Wilke D. Ferguson Metromover Station at NW 5^th Street and NW 1^st Avenue.
• Take the Metromover’s Inner Loop to the Bayfront Park Station (either direction is fine).
• The Intercontinental Miami is located one block east, across Biscayne Boulevard, at 100 Chopin Plaza.

For all other trains heading to Miami International Airport:

• Transfer at the Tri-Rail/Metrorail Transfer Station and take the Metrorail Green Line to Government Center in Downtown Miami.
• Proceed to the Mezzanine Level to take the Metromover’s Inner Loop to the Bayfront Park Station.
• The Intercontinental Miami is located one block east, across Biscayne Boulevard, at Chopin Plaza

Amtrak

• Exit the Amtrak Miami Station and walk three blocks south along E 12^th Avenue/SW 37 Avenue.
• Turn right on to E 25^th Street/NW 79^th Street.
• Walk one block west to E 11^th Avenue.
• Turn right and the Tri-Rail/Metrorail Transfer Station will be on your right.
• Follow signs to the Metrorail Station (up the stairs).
• Take the Metrorail Green Line to Government Center in Downtown Miami.
• Proceed to the Mezzanine Level to take the Metromover’s Inner Loop to the Bayfront Park Station.
• The Intercontinental Miami is located one block east, across Biscayne Boulevard, at 100 Chopin Plaza.

(Note: there is a lack of continuous sidewalks along E 12^th Avenue)
