Lisa Nisenson is a nationally-recognized practitioner and researcher with a 25-year career devoted to rewriting standards and regulations to achieve better land use, transportation, sustainability, and economic outcomes. Her portfolio includes national guidance on green infrastructure and transit-oriented development, as well as a TEDx talk on mobility. Her recent work is focused on harnessing technology for improved access and mobility through parking and infrastructure reform. She is currently co-authoring an updated PAS report on Complete Streets for the American Planning Association and working on multiple projects involving right-sizing parking, Complete Streets, sustainable mobility, and funding for safe streets projects.
